Everything about Gretchen and Jason’s wedding was idyllic. The dress. The flowers. The church. The view from the Akron City Centre Hotel – it was all gorgeous! The photos in Highland Square before the ceremony truly depict this couple’s charm. So hard to pick my favorites – there’s so many! Gretchen and Jason, thank you for allowing me to “tag along” on your wedding day. It was amazing!
Since their wedding in May of ’09, Shannon and Dan have had two beautiful boys – Big Brother Fisher and Baby Sawyer. I was excited about getting to see Shannon and Dan again and photograph their family.

Meet Rachel and Curtis. Of course their wedding at the Memorial Chapel in Akron was beautiful! The stained glass windows are perfect for romantic pictures! Rachel was gorgeous. Curtis – super handsome. Bridal party – really fun. I had a great time working with them. Best of luck, Rachel and Curtis. Bless you both!
It’s hard to take myself seriously when taking pictures of my own family. Although I try to do a good job, I don’t bring the same amount of…professionalism to the photo session. I took some family photos for my sister, her husband, and their one-year old, Evan, last night…all the while bouncing my own baby, Eleanor, on my hip while she chewed on my camera strap! Oh well! Here are some of my one-handed shots.
