Little did they know, Katie and Nathan planed their wedding day around “Steam in the Valley 2010,” the day when the 1925 “Balwdin-built, coal-fired 0-4-0 saddle tank steam engine” came from New York (I didn’t know either). The goal was to get some photos at Indigo Lake by the train station, but when we arrived, we were not the only ones there. About 100 people were geared with cameras waiting for the train. Katie and Nathan were great sports and chose to stick around for the train to come by in hopes that we could get some unique photos. We certainly did! My friend and fellow photographer, Amy Sir Louis, came along as a second shooter. She did a terrific job and captured some beautiful photos. Here’s a compilation of our photos from the ceremony, train station, covered bridge, and reception. Enjoy!
After taking Karley and Steve’s engagement pictures in Cleveland last year, I was very excited to photograph their wedding. These two were both so easy going, and they had a great bridal party to work with. Some of my favorite photos came from before the ceremony as the couple was getting ready at the hotel. Here you go!
